Your username is how Windows identifies you. It appears on the login screen, your account details and registered in other places in the system settings. Change Microsoft Account Name

If your account is a Microsoft online account, then use this method to change your online name. Microsoft account is tied to your online email account. To change your online account name, follow these steps: Windows 11 has a centralized location for the majority of its settings. From system configurations to creating new users and updating Windows, all can be done from its System Settings pane. To get to System Settings, you can use the Windows key + I shortcut or click on Start ==> Settings as shown in the image below: Windows Settings pane should look similar to the image below. In Windows Settings, click Accounts, then select Your info on the right pane of your screen shown in the image below. On the Your info settings pane, under Related settings, click Manage my accounts as shown below. Alternatively, you can go to the link below and log in using your Microsoft Account online.
